Keep an eye out for an email about the weather before you leave, so you know whether to bring sun cream or wellies… or both! Waterproofs are always advisable and groundsheets could be useful for sitting down if the ground is damp.

If you’d like to get involved with the BiG PiG Paint Fight, ensure you bring white clothes or overalls that you don’t mind getting colourful!

Also get rummaging in your fancy dress box… as this year’s theme is: Cosmic Disco

What does the paint fight involve and what do I need to participate?

With the return of the legendary HogSozzle paint fight it is important that EVERYBODY who wants to take part brings a white outfit. The colours are not dangerous but may stain your clothes. To protect your eyes and lungs you can wear something to protect your eyes or cover your mouth, with a t-shirt for example.  Please read below for full details.

This year’s paint fight is going to be bigger, brighter, and better than last year and you don’t want to miss out. Take a look at the video to check out the multi-coloured carnage of last year.

Hogsozzle only use ‘Throwing Powder’ designed for the purpose of events and festivals. The coloured powder is made from non-toxic materials and is a cosmetic product on the approved list of ingredients for cosmetic applications.

As always, anyone who participates in the Paint Fight is strongly advised to wear eye protection and dust masks to protect your eyes and your lungs. Dust masks will be provided free of charge before the Paint Fight. Anyone who participates in the Paint Fight without wearing eye protection and a dust mask does so at their own risk. Hogsozzle accepts no liability in the event that these items are not worn as advised.
Eye wash stations and first aiders will be available in the unlikely event they are needed.
Those with allergies or sensitivities are advised not to participate. Whilst our paint is non-toxic, there is always a small risk of irritance which can’t be avoided.
Everyone in the Paint Fight should wear all white for a ridiculous colour contrast! The paint can usually be washed out of clothes but colour cast cannot be excluded. The sooner you wash your clothes the better and a colour catcher in the washing machine should help, but you should not wear any of your favourite clothes or clothes which you mind being potentially damaged or ruined. Hogsozzle will not be responsible for any stains or damage caused to clothing or other items such as accessories or vehicles. You are advised to cover car seats with towels if wearing paint covered clothing in your vehicle.
Are campervans allowed?

Only a small number of camper van spots are available and they will not be in the main campsite. If you haven’t already got in touch, please do so as soon as you can to ensure you can get in.
