Devon dumplings Al and Hannah James are the heart of The Cauldron. The French Alps (and a few too many Long Island Ice Teas) set the scene for these chalet chefs romance, which quickly escalated to high profile restaurant work in London, a ring and a baby on the way!

Wanting to get back to their roots the pair swapped city for country…Out of the melting pot of ideas based around our love of London’s urban street food scene and wholesome country cooking, the concept of “Arcadian Street Fodder” was born! The Cauldron is bang in the middle where the edgy, graffiti clad streets of the metropolis meet the quaint and charming farmers markets of the country.

Now in their fourth year of trading The Cauldron are a regular on the festival circuit and have gained national press coverage and recognition, winning their region heats and category at the British Street Food Awards in 2014. A high demand for festival style weddings catering has launched the pair to start a sister company Fego Food Co.
